EyeCare4All’s Mobile Vision Screening Research & Analysis Initiative is a research-driven effort focused on evaluating how clinically validated, mobile vision technologies can support early identification of vision needs in underserved communities. In many rural, displaced, and low-resource settings, children may have access to mobile devices but limited or no access to eye care professionals. This initiative seeks to study, compare, and assess existing FDA-cleared and clinically validated mobile screening tools, with the goal of understanding their appropriate, ethical, and effective use in community-based settings. The project is intentionally structured as a collaborative research and analysis program, bringing together students, optometrists, ophthalmologists, academic institutions, technology providers, and community partners. Volunteers and professional contributors support the initiative by participating in research interviews, reviewing screening workflows, sharing clinical perspectives, and helping evaluate real-world applicability, limitations, and best practices. Donor support enables structured research activities, professional engagement, data analysis, and the development of evidence-based recommendations that will inform future EyeCare4All programs. Through this initiative, EyeCare4All continues to advance responsible innovation while strengthening professional collaboration and data-driven approaches to expanding access to eye care for children most in need.

Bringing Clear Vision & Hope



Free Eye Exams, Eyeglasses & Care Packages for 150 Orphan Children



At EyeCare4All, our mission is simple yet powerful: transforming lives by providing clear vision to those who need it most. This April 2025, we are proud to announce another impactful step toward that mission. In partnership with the American University of Science and Technology (AUST), we will be hosting a special event to offer free eye exams, eyeglasses, and more to 150 orphan children, ages 4 to 20, at Beit Al Yatim Al Derzi.
A Community Coming Together: We're excited to share that the AUST administration has officially approved their participation in this charitable initiative. In the spirit of giving back, AUST will provide all services at no cost, including transportation for their students, mobile refraction units, and essential diagnostic equipment. This collaboration includes a dedicated team from AUST, comprised of students and senior optometrists, working together to ensure a smooth and meaningful event.
We are also deeply grateful for the generous support of the Aley Women Youth Organization, whose volunteers will be assisting with coordination and on-the-ground execution during the event. Their dedication and involvement are vital in ensuring that every child receives the attention and care they deserve.
What to Expect on Event Day: - Comprehensive Eye Exams: Every child at Beit Al Yatim Al Derzi will receive a professional, thorough eye exam, with special attention to those requiring follow-up care or who previously received eyeglasses. eyecare4all.org Bringing Clear Vision & Hope- Eyeglasses Selection Station: Students needing glasses will visit a dedicated station featuring high-quality, stylish frames provided by EyeCare4All. Each child will have the chance to choose frames they love.- Custom Lenses Provided with Care: Prescriptions will be handled by trusted eyeglass workshops at no cost, with glasses delivered directly to the orphanage.- Special Care Packages: Each child will receive a special care package prepared by EyeCare4All, filled with practical items and a message of encouragement.

Project Summary: Collaborative Eye Care Initiative with Robouana Social Charitable Association



This project represents a strategic partnership with the Robouana Social Charitable Association, a respected educational organization dedicated to the rehabilitation and skill development of students under the expert guidance of daily educators. These professionals are specialized in nurturing various essential skills, paving the way for students to achieve a degree of independence. Key skills imparted include managing daily chores, mastering reading and writing, conducting simple calculations, among other critical life skills.


The core aim of this collaboration is to orchestrate a pivotal event focused on providing comprehensive eye exams at no cost to the students of the Robouana Social Charitable Association. Recognizing the intrinsic link between visual health and effective learning, this initiative seeks not only to assess but also to address any identified visual impairments by ensuring that students in need receive the appropriate eyeglasses.


To bring this vision to fruition, we are actively engaging with a broad network of organizations and philanthropic individuals, rallying support in the form of donations and funding. This collective effort is instrumental in covering the costs associated with eye examinations and the subsequent provision of eyewear. By leveraging these partnerships, we aim to create a sustainable model that can be replicated to extend the benefits of this initiative to as many students as possible.

Seeing Hope: Bridging Vision Care Gaps for Druze Orphans (Beit al-Yateem)



The initiative "Seeing Hope: Bridging Vision Care Gaps for Druze Orphans" represents a collaborative effort between our organization and Beit al-Yateem, targeting the provision of essential eye care to the Druze Orphans. This project is designed to leverage our commitment to improving lives through vision care by offering comprehensive eye exams and corrective glasses in support of the Orphans at Beit al-Yateem.

Our objectives are centered around delivering critical vision care, enhancing awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups, and laying the groundwork for sustainable eye health initiatives. The strategy for implementation involves detailed planning and coordination, from assessing the specific needs of the orphans to mobilizing a dedicated team of volunteers and eye care professionals for effective service delivery. The impact we aim for is broad and significant, hoping to achieve immediate improvements in vision for individuals, thereby directly enhancing their quality of life and potential for education and work.

Furthermore, the project seeks to foster a culture of eye health awareness and preventive care, which we anticipate will have long-lasting benefits for the community at large.
