The Mobile Vision Screening Research & Analysis Initiative is a collaborative research effort led by EyeCare4All to evaluate how clinically validated, mobile vision screening technologies can support early identification of vision needs in underserved communities. This project brings together students, eye care professionals, academic partners, and technology providers to research available tools, assess real-world applicability, and develop evidence-based recommendations for ethical and effective use in community settings. The objective of this document is to outline the problem being addressed, the current technology landscape, and a structured research approach that invites professional input and donor support. By contributing expertise, time, or funding, participants help advance responsible innovation that informs future EyeCare4All programs and expands access to eye care for children most in need.
